Chicken Pox
Scars of Chicken Pox are often deep and pigmented. Such scars are treated using the 4mm Erbium Yag laser to ablate the scar tissue in the crater and the shoulder of the scar is flattened by using the 1mm Surgi Light Erbium handpiece. It is a one time procedure and leads to remarkable effacement of the scar, converting the deep and dark scar into a shallow and light scar. Chicken Pox scars are best treated within 8 weeks of the healing of Chicken pox as the underlying scar tissue is soft and extensible.
